How does Kitchen Vacation, A Personal Chef Service work?

Let’s get to know each other!  First, we set up a meeting with you and your family to discuss your personal preferences. This includes likes and dislikes, allergies, and any special dietary needs.  Do you have Grandma’s Meatloaf or Aunt Bee’s Tuna Casserole recipes; treasured family recipes that haven’t been made in ages but would love to eat again?  No problem! I am happy to work with you and make any family recipes you would like to enjoy again. 

We will then schedule a cook date and make arrangements for access to your kitchen if you will not be home.  You may select a menu at this time or I will make menu selections based on your assessment and phone or email for your approval prior to your scheduled cook date.

On the agreed cook date, I will shop for all the ingredients and prepare the meals in the safety of your kitchen.  I will bring everything I need to prepare your customized menu, including all pots and pans, spoons and spatula, dish soap and towels.  All entrees and side dishes will be clearly labeled and refrigerated or frozen depending on your specifications.

Your kitchen will smell delicious and be spotless! A list of the menu items with clear instructions for re-heating and serving will be left for you.

All you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your dinner!
